At first i thought irony was when the story ends sad , but I learned that this was wrong. Actually, irony is the difference between what the readers expect or what seems suitable and the reality of what happens. There are three different types of irony Verbal, Situational,Dramatic.
I also learned about Ambiguity. I used to think that Ambiguity was when you read a story and the ending is a surprise, but i learned Ambiguity is an element of uncertainty in a text, in which something can be interpreted in a number of different ways.On my Irony and Ambiguity pretest, I was below grade level. On my posttest I hope to earn a at grade level.

“Second Quarter Goals 2008.”
This quarter I will improve my study habits. In order to achieve this, I will stay in an extra hour if there is test the next day, I will also study with a partner for the test. This quarter I will try to pay more attention to Ms. Priester and less to my peers. In order to do this I will have to ignore what my peers say to me and hold my anger off till the class is over. This quarter I will pay more attention to my work in all classes than I do on the outside drama and activities. In order to this I will distract myself with homework rather than drama and activities. I will also keep my issues outside of the classroom.
